News that the Boca Raton City Commission has agreed to lift its ban and make a section of its beach dog-friendly should be good news for pet owners and proponents of urban planning and livable communities everywhere.
Like Fido himself, the details remain fuzzy. The stretch of beach has not yet been decided, though locations likely could be a 100-yard area between South Beach and Red Reef Parks, or Spanish River Park.
