Danburg Properties of Boca Raton, Local Police Partner to Provide Safety News & Tips

Frequent readers of this blog might have noticed several recent posts about safety in and around Boca Raton. In our ongoing effort to provide valuable information to Boca Raton residents and tenants at its area commercial and corporate office locations, the team at Danburg Properties of Boca Raton is working with the Boca Raton Police Department to share news, tips and suggestions to live safely in Boca Raton and southern Palm Beach County.
Officer Brandon Eames of the Boca Raton Police Department Crime Prevention Unit [insert link http://www.ci.boca-raton.fl.us/police/crimeprevention.shtm] is part of a three-officer team that works city-wide to identify and highlight crime trends and help residents and business owners live and work more safely. The team performs security surveys in residential and commercial areas, and educates residents on theft prevention; predator avoidance and Internet safety – especially for students in middle and high school; school bullying; and neighborhood crime watch programs.
Lately, the team has discussed “distraction thefts,” where criminals who travel from town to town distract shoppers and residents as a partner steals items from their person, car, homes or businesses.
Officer Eames writes articles for public distribution and personally speaks with area residents and business owners about how we can all live more safely here in Boca Raton.
Officer Eames notes that Boca Raton is a very safe city – and that most crime perpetrated in the city are property crimes, not crimes against people. If you witness a crime or suspicious activity in progress, dial 911. If you want Officer Eames or a member of his team to visit your organization, contact them at 561-347-3938.
We at Danburg Properties of Boca Raton and the Boca Raton Police Department are committed to helping our fellow residents and business owners live safely in our city. Check back to this blog often to learn new ways to be more crime-free in Boca Raton.
