Fall is coming fast. Leaves up north are changing. Kids all over are back in school. And the TVs and stadiums nationwide are aglow in the lights, pageantry and excitement of college – and professional – football. This is big news at Danburg Properties of Boca Raton, where we recently received our season tickets as a supporter and corporate sponsor of the Florida Atlantic University Owls.

As the developer, owner and landlord of commercial, office, industrial and warehouse space across south Palm Beach County, we’re more than business partners with the local community. We’re residents, too.

And football lovers.

And those are the reasons we invested in season tickets. As part of Conference USA, the Owls find themselves in a growing and increasingly competitive conference.

It helps that earlier this month, the conference announced two new bowls, according to ESPN. One bowl will be held in Nassau, Bahamas. The other: Right here at FAU Stadium.

Like so many of our tenants and business partners, the staff at Danburg Properties of Boca Raton hail from “someplace else.” We’re from the Northeast and the Midwest. We’re from Latin America, and we were raised internationally.

One thing we have in common, though, is an espirit de corps with the local community. That includes the successes FAU has enjoyed. It’s a university that’s fast rising in national prominence for research and development, business programs, and culture and the arts.

Now more than ever, we’re hoping those successes include the gridiron. Go Owls! We’ll see you at the stadium for the first home game – on September 21 versus Middle Tennessee State University.
