As a leading developer, property owner, landlord and manager of commercial, office and warehouse property in Boca Raton, Danburg Properties has a unique perspective on the region’s development. What we see from our vantage is that all around South Florida, New Regionalism is taking shape – with Boca Raton ideally situated to capitalize on the business.
Moreover, from Port of Palm Beach (pictured here) to Port Everglades to PortMiami, development is changing the future tidings of the entire region.
From tunnels to runway expansions to intermodal centers, we’re tying together the region’s business, logistics and infrastructure. The result is a web of facilities, highways and railways that will improve how the tri-county region inter-operates to serve Florida – and the nation.
This is big news, especially as the new mega “Panamax” container ships prepare to traverse the expanded Panama Canal beginning in 2014.
The Port of Palm Beach is recognized as a significant container and cruise facility in Florida. To the south, a planned deepening of Port Everglades, the expansion of the south runway at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the building of an intermodal center is preparing that facility for coming change.
Meanwhile, PortMiami is placing the finishing touches on a pair of tunnels that will aid ingress and egress from the port – and surrounding business community. Its own intermodal center will tie cargo from the seaport and airport into rail system to serve the region.
Boca Raton is not lost in this hustle of activity. The city continues to lure businesses and executives who seek to be near to these regional and international targets – but far enough away to maintain the vital quality of life that has made Boca Raton an important bedroom community with an executive and corporate appeal.
The coming years promise to be an important time for South Florida. We at Danburg Properties of Boca Raton are bullish about what we’re seeing from our perspective – right in the center of South Florida’s growing home of New Regionalism.
