Charlie Exelbirt has joined Danburg Management (DMC) as Director of Leasing. He will oversee the leasing for approximately 1,000,000 square feet of industrial and office properties.  Prior to DMC, Mr. Exelbirt worked at Savitar Properties, Inc. as the Director of Leasing of their South Florida Industrial, Retail and Office properties totaling approximately 800,000 square feet.

Mr. Exelbirt’s initial introduction to leasing was while he worked with with Leder Realty and Management, Inc. as a Tenant and Landlord Leasing Agent where he quickly mastered the art of leasing.  During Mr. Exelbirt’s leasing career he has worked with several national and international corporate clients such as Fastenal and Subway.  Additionally, Mr. Exelbirt negotiated several Federal and Florida State leases. Mr. Exelbirt began his Real Estate Career at Cushman & Wakefield as a Sales Associate working in the marketing and disposition of privately-owned rental apartment properties. His other areas of specialization included brokerage of residential development sites and manufactured housing communities.   Mr. Exelbirt’s diverse background and ability to conduct business in multiple languages enables him to effectively excel and negotiate on behalf of his clients.

Prior to his Real Estate career, Mr. Exelbirt gained a proven track record for successfully penetrating new markets as Vice President of Sales at Mekfir International Corp. and served as Sales Manager for Unifi, Inc. in Greensboro, North Carolina and Coleshill, England. Mr. Exelbirt earned his Master of Textile Management degree from the North Carolina State University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Florida.

Mr. Exelbirt is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Florida, and earned the Cushman & Wakefield Up & Comers Award, and is involved with local and national charitable associations.
